Abstract

Over the past few years, the gap between the income indicators of the worlds poor and wealthy has grown significantly. The growing gap between the poorest and richest people on the planet is facilitated by globalization, which, among other things, implies the massive use of outsourcing and cheaper foreign labor. It is globalization and labor-saving technological progress that are among the main enemies of the growth of middle class incomes. Due to the development of technologies in the labor market, the demand remained either for extremely low-paid services, or for highly qualified specialists who provide consulting services for the management of large business. Russia is one of the most considered countries, where the problem of inequality in wealth is very common. Social stratification not only exacerbates poverty, but also leads to violence and crime. In general, the widening gap between rich and poor is leading to polarization in society and politics. A state in which there is an acute social confrontation cannot be strong. A situation where 1 percent of people own colossal means, while others can barely make ends meet, can lead to protests and social explosions. The high level of property inequality is one of the main restrictions on the economic development of the state, therefore it is necessary to consider measures to reduce the property differentiation of society.

Keywords: indicators of income of the population, the problem of inequality, social stratification, tools for resolving social conflicts, aid projects, programs to support entrepreneurs.
