Abstract

The article deals with some theoretical aspects of globalization, focusing on the increasing fragmentation of international relations and the growing phenomenon of regionalization. Special attention is paid to the review of modern studies of the phenomenon of regionalization, the factors that stimulate its spread, as well as the advantages of sub-regional links in the global system. On the example of the Central Asian region, the analysis of the components and prerequisites necessary for successful regional integration is given.
