Although the study of the political situation is somewhat superficial and subjective, it is now possible to unambiguously determine the main general trends and put forward a number of hypotheses. This study addresses the history of Russia, its socio-political events, especially the events of 2014-2015, such as the entry of Crimea into Russia and the conduct of hostilities in Syria. The authors in their study analyze the work of such historians and political scientists as Glebova II, Dorozhkin Yu.N., Duka A.V., Rodimushkin O.V., Ivanov O.I. In the framework of the article, a socio-research poll was conducted, which was to determine the political mood of citizens of the Russian Federation and confirm the theory put forward by the authors of the division of the current political situation in society. The article discusses one of the most discussed and important problems of modern society, which formed the basis of many economic, social, political and cultural studies of philosophers and economists around the world, starting in the second half of the twentieth century. Despite the variety of approaches of scientists to this problem, estimates and forecasts of the information society, they turned out to be built mainly according to one scheme: modern means of communication and information technologies have created a completely new situation in society. On the one hand, there are ample opportunities for progress, and on the other, an even greater number of contradictions and aggravation of problems arise: political, cultural, economic, moral, social. The work focuses on the new paradigm, which is to combine the development of society for the benefit of progress in the context of the information war. Along with the formation of a new image of society, a person forms new axiological landmarks, transforms ideas about the way of life and develops an appropriate understanding of ones own place in the world.

The article examines the international situation of the USSR after the war and the tasks of the foreign policy of the Soviet Union. The article also discusses the outcome of World War II, which significantly changed the geopolitical situation in the world. The Soviet Union played an outstanding role in ridding peoples of fascist slavery. The position of the USSR in the international arena was significantly strengthened, and the authority of the USSR increased. Most people began to talk about the USSR, its people and the heroic army with admiration, love and respect throughout the world. Relations with other states have expanded. Already at the final stage of the war, the Soviet leadership announced the acquisition of the USSR the status of a great power, which meant that not a single issue in international life could and should not be resolved without his participation. Particular attention is paid to the beginning of the Cold War, which was caused by fundamental differences in the socio-political system, value system and ideology, in the geopolitical interest of the powers and their desire to expand the sphere of influence. The capitalist countries of the West, led by the United States and England, were developing a policy of containing the expansion of the socialist bloc.

The article deals with historical aspects of the role of Greco-Roman wrestling in the physical education of young people in higher education institutions. The strategic direction of the countrys economic and social development requires new people in all areas, distinguished primarily by the fact that they lead a healthy lifestyle and establish civilized forms of production and interpersonal relations. In the light of these trends, we can only consider as a temporary crisis the fact that the authority of sports clubs and departments of physical culture in universities is declining. The relevance of new approaches to physical education is dictated by the need to promote combat sports and the interest of young people in power forms of physical education. The further development of society encourages us to raise physical education to a new level, to reveal its humanistic orientation. This indicates the relevance of the studied problem of the role of combat sports in particular Greco-Roman wrestling among the younger generation in Russia.

This article discusses the main stages of the historical formation and development of religious media in Russia, as well as their modern existence. In this work, we clarify some specific features of religious periodicals in comparison with the secular print press in Russia. The fact that the church has its own media makes it more independent and independent in expressing its point of view regarding various social and political problems in modern society. It also allows the church to pursue its own policy in the most important sphere of national and religious relations, in relation to certain groups of the countrys population. The discourse of the Russian Orthodox Church in the domestic media originated in the XIXth century. The current topical discourse of the Russian Orthodox Church in contemporary print and electronic Russian media is extremely important for the mentality of Russian citizens and society as a whole. In January 1933, Adolf Hitler came to power in Germany. Almost 90 years have passed since those events, and many historians still wonder: how did it happen that a nation with rich cultural traditions, a developed legal consciousness, and experience of civil self-government succumbed to the calls and promises of the person who brought the country and the German people to national disaster? According to the author, in all societies there will always be a place for a talented demagogue who will lead his people to the abyss. It was on these painful complexes of the German people that Adolf Hitler played after coming to power in 1933. In addition, a well-developed civil society and a democratic political culture are needed to defend democracy. Unfortunately, none of this happened in the Weimar Republic. Weimar democracy was stillborn from the very beginning of its existence and its fall sooner or later was inevitable.
