Abstract

The article examines the phenomenon of deception, which is often found both in the animal world and, especially, in the framework of human relationships, from the standpoint of the so called praxiological approach, and discusses the "mechanism" that determines the different attitude to the fact of deception-from light condemnation to extreme indignation. The basis of such a "mechanism" is recognized as a characteristic, universal behavioral motivation for a person, which at the mental level acts as a derivative of the relationship that develops between the generalized mental models of the human psyche: the model of the present, the model of the probabilistic future and the model of the necessary future. The article analyzes in detail the concept proposed to explain the difference in modalities in relation to deception and analyzes the corresponding illustrative examples.

Keywords: behavior, deception, false message, false message, model of the present, model of the probabilistic future, model of the necessary future.
