The article is devoted to the study of individual features of the development of non-state credit institutions in the Voronezh province in 1861-1894. The author analyzes some features of the development of non-state credit organizations, pays attention to the peculiarities of the activities of certain credit organizations. A number of regional factors have been identified that have affected the specifics of the development of provincial credit institutions. The influence of non-governmental credit organizations on the regions economy is considered in detail. This article is of interest both for specialists and for everyone interested in the development of the Russian banking system and, in particular, in the development of banking in the Voronezh province.
